Meditation in Motion: Tai Chi Demonstration to be held at the Danbury Library on Saturday, April 9
April 4, 2011--Danbury, CT—Kathleen Brenner, award-winning Tai Chi student and teacher, will conduct a Tai Chi demonstration on the Danbury Library Plaza on Saturday, April 9 from 11:00am – Noon. If raining, the demonstration will be held on Saturday, April 23. Originally created in China for self defense, this martial art is now practiced worldwide for its exercise and stress relieving qualities. In addition to the demonstration, audience members will be able to try out a few moves themselves and should wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
Ms. Brenner will offer a 6-week class at the library on Saturdays starting in June. A reduced fee of $10 for the 6-week class will be charged thanks to funding support from the FRIENDS of the Danbury Library. Registrations will be taking starting on the day of the demonstration.

Ms. Kathleen Brenner has studied tai chi for 20 years and has won several gold, silver and bronze medals in international Tai Chi competitions and has taught Tai Chi and Chi Kung to groups of all ages over the last eleven years.
