Delta, Schmelta: We got Fireworks!! coming back to the Danbury Mall this Labor Day Weekend

DANBURY, CT — After missing two Independence Day celebrations over coronavirus concerns, the annual fireworks event at the Danbury Fair Mall will once again light up the sky over Hat City.

Food trucks and local favorite musical group The Zoo will be on hand for what the organizers describe as a "family-friendly event."

The parking lot celebration in the Primark South parking lot adjacent to the outer ring road will start at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 3, kicking off the Labor Day weekend. Fireworks are schedule to begin around 9:30 p.m.

Rain date is Sept. 4.
