DANBURY, CT — Sarah Seo, the first Eagle Scout of BSA’s all-girls Troop 252 and first female Eagle Scout in Danbury, was honored Sunday for her achievements by the State of Connecticut. The Eagle Court of Honor Ceremony was held at the King Street United Church of Christ.

Sarah was recognized by Rep. Rachel Chaleski on behalf of the Danbury's legislative delegation and the entire General Assembly. She was also presented with two mayoral citations from Danbury Mayor Dean Esposito and New Milford Town Councilman Paul Murphy on behalf of Mayor Pete Bass. Sarah hails from New Milford.

To achieve Eagle Scout, Sarah created and installed a mural at the Youth Agency in New Milford. The goal of the design is to promote diversity, acceptance, and kindness.

"I was honored to present Sarah with a citation recognizing her hard work. Only four years ago, BSA welcomed girls to join the program and achieve Eagle Scout. Her leadership in our greater community will surely reach and inspire other girls to follow in her footsteps," said Chaleski.
