Four women are facing charges after Danbury Police conducted a prostitution sweep in the three block area between New Street and Beaver Street.
According to police, the sweep was conducted on Sept. 17 after citizen complaints from residents living in the area.
The four women facing charges were arrested after they allegedly offered undercover officers sex for money, police said. All four were found roaming the streets signaling passing cars and each of them allegedly entered undercover police officers’ vehicles and offered to provide them sex for money.

The following women were arrested:
- Teresa Lynch, 25, of New Milford was charged with prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Karen Santoro, 54, of Danbury was charged with prostitution.
- Heather McNally, 28, of Danbury was charged with prostitution.
- Jennifer Collins, 34, of Danbury was charged with prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All four women were released on a promise to appear.
