Free Flu Shots Available To Danbury Residents: No Insurance Needed
The city will host a free vaccination clinic for residents, along with additional health screenings and resources.

DANBURY, CT — Danbury residents can receive free flu vaccinations later this month at a city-sponsored clinic, with no health insurance required.
The Danbury Department of Health and Human Services will host the clinic Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rogers Park Middle School.
Vaccinations will be available at no cost to anyone ages 6 months and older, according to a city news release.

The event will also feature several community health services and resources, including:
Free flu vaccinations provided by Danbury Health and Human Services, assisted by Western Connecticut State University nursing students.

Free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings provided by the Connecticut Institute for Communities.
An informational table hosted by Access Health CT.
City officials said the clinic is intended to expand access to flu vaccinations and help protect residents ahead of the seasonal flu season.
