Free, Rapid Testing For Coronavirus In Danbury On Wednesday

The free testing will be held on Wednesday, May 13, from 8:30 am to noon in the GDCHC​ rear parking lot at 120 Main Street.

DANBURY, CT — The Greater Danbury Community Health Center will once again be offering rapid testing for the new coronavirus, provided by the state Department of Public Health’s mobile lab.

The testing will be held on Wednesday, May 13, from 8:30 am to noon in the GDCHC rear parking lot at 120 Main Street.

Health Center staff will collect the specimens and the DPH Mobile Lab will analyze the results, which are "generally available same day as testing," according to the Health Center. Follow-up telehealth visits will be available for those who wish to register with GDCHC as patients.

Symptomatic patients or those with known exposure will be given priority.

The Health Center is encouraging appointments due to limited testing swabs. To make an appointment call 203-456-1413.
