Last Call For Tickets For Major Danbury History Museum Fundraiser: UPDATE
The annual Winter Luncheon of the Danbury Historical Society will take place on Friday, Feb. 13, at a local events venue.

DANBURY, CT — Tickets are on sale now for a major fundraiser for the city's historical museum and history organization.
Folks are invited to join the Danbury Museum & Historical Society 2026 Winter Luncheon Fundraiser on Feb. 13 at 11:30 a.m. as they kick off a yearlong commemoration of 250 years of the American Experiment. It will take place at theAmber Room Colonnade in Danbury.

"America 250 marks the semiquincentennial of the Declaration of Independence, a time to reflect on our founding ideals, celebrate shared history, and engage communities through education and civic pride," wrote city officials in an announcement.
City Historian and Danbury Museum Executive Director Brigid Guertin will share Danbury’s role in the Revolutionary War, joined by local historian Robert Young with his “Why Danbury?” presentation on the city’s strategic importance.

Tickets: $76 | Includes appetizers, buffet luncheon, beef carving station, dessert, coffee, cash bar, plus 50/50 and raffle baskets.
The museum will leave the online portal open through Wednesday, Feb. 11, but for any Thursday purchases on Feb. 12, those interested should stop in or call the museum at 203-743-5200. Tickets available at the Danbury Museum or online at DanburyMuseum.org/winter-luncheon.
