Gojcaj Turns Down Five Years in Tampering Case

The witness tampering case that arose from the Gusto's Ristorante murder trial was continued to August.

Convicted Murderer Marash Gojcaj rejected a plea bargain for an additional five years in prison for witness tampering in Danbury Superior Court Wednesday.

The witness tampering case was moved to August 24 before Gojcaj waved goodbye to his brother Tom Gojcaj and his mother. Gojcaj appeared in court in an orange prison uniform and white long-sleeved sweatshirt.

Gojcaj said no to five years that would have been added to the 50 he is serving for the murder and dismemberment of his uncle Zef Vulivec in April 2004. The pair were partners in Gusto's Ristorante 275 Main St., Danbury until Vulivec's death.
