Fashion Retailer Set to Return to Danbury Fair Mall

The retailer is one of the two largest global clothing retailers operating in southwestern Connecticut.

DANBURY, CT —After an absence of four years, clothing retailer H&M is returning to the Danbury Fair Mall, the News Times is reporting.

Danbury Fair Mall's management revealed its plans for an H&M renaissance on a call with investment analysts last month.

H&M, the American arm of Swedish multi-national fashion conglomerate Hennes & Mauritz, is one of the two largest global clothing retailers operating in southwestern Connecticut. The company's other area stores can be fund a the Connecticut Post, Stamford Town Center and Westfield Trumbull malls. In the first nine months of its fiscal yea, H&M global revenue was up 3 percent to $16.9 billion.
