'Halloween on the Green' Returns To Danbury

The 29th annual 'Halloween on the Green' in Danbury is set for Saturday.

DANBURY, CT— Halloween is returning to the Danbury Green.

In partnership with Kiwanis Club of Greater Danbury, CityCenter Danbury is bringing the traditional "Halloween on the Green" festivities back on Saturday, Oct. 30.

The 29th annual event will run 1-4 p.m.

Children and their families are invited to the CityCenter Green on Ives Street for what organizers are describing as a "spirited event" featuring a children’s costume parade, goodie bags, local vendors, music, photo booth, and kid-friendly activities. Prizes will be awarded for Most Original, Scariest, and Cutest costumes. Goodie bags will be given to the first 500 costumed children.

This is a free event. Parking is available at the Patriot Parking Garage right next to the CityCenter Green.
