Housatonic Habitat to hold Earth-Week Celebration April 23 to 27

Housatonic Habitat will hold a week-long Earth Week celebration from Tuesday April 23 through Saturday April 27. The event will include activities and daily targeted sales in its ReStore thrift warehouse at 51 Austin Street. “We will hold a raffle, distribute earth-friendly gifts, and be available to answer questions about recycling, re-using and re-purposing everyday items,” said Housatonic Habitat Executive Director Fran Normann. “Everyone is welcome to celebrate Earth Week with us.”

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity is both a builder and a bank, building affordable homes for working families who might not qualify for a traditional mortgage. In addition, Housatonic Habitat provides home repairs for homeowners who are aging in place.
