Housatonic Habitat to Hold Interfaith Volunteer Work Day
Volunteers wanted - October 17 at 1pm in Danbury

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity will hold an Interfaith Volunteer Workday on Sunday, October 17 from 1-4 p.m. at the ReStore, located at 51 Austin St. in Danbury. Volunteers from all faith communities are invited to work together on the outdoor cleanup project and should bring their own work gloves. Volunteers will also work inside the ReStore on a variety of projects including to help set up displays for the upcoming holiday sale. Register to volunteer for the Interfaith Volunteer Workday by sending an email to info@housatonichabitat.org with your name and projected number of attendees.
"We are very excited about organizing another volunteer day where we will have the ability to come together for fellowship," said Rev. Jim Wheeler, Interfaith Coordinator and Board Member of Housatonic Habitat for Humanity. “This is a good way for families to give back to the community."
Housatonic Habitat for Humanity focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable homes. Households often consist of those who have limited assets and who have jobs that also have income caps.
