Housatonic Habitat for Humanity Opens a new ReStore Location

Last week Housatonic Habitat for Humanity opened a new ReStore location at the Danbury Fair Mall. The ReStore at the Mall is located in the lower level across from Old Navy near the Primark entrance to the mall. The new store is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11-6, and Sunday from 12-5. The ReStore is Habitat’s thrift warehouse that offers a selection of new and gently used items such as home goods, furniture and more for sale at discounted prices. Proceeds from all sales are used to support Habitat’s mission. The original ReStore location at 51 Austin St. in Danbury remains open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 to 4. Donations can be dropped off at this location from 9:30 to 3:30.

“The Danbury Fair Mall has been a long-time supporter of Housatonic Habitat,” says Executive Director Diana Arfine. “For years, they have donated the coins from the fountain to Habitat and allowed our holiday wrapping fundraiser in front of Macy*s. We are thrilled by this new community partnership and look forward to the additional exposure it will provide to our organization.”
