Immaculate To Celebrate 60th Anniversary With Diamond Gala & Auction

This year’s Immaculate High School Diamond Gala will be filled with some extra sparkle March 25 – marking the celebration of its 60th anniversary!

The school has been providing a rigorous Catholic high school education to 28 communities in Connecticut and New York since 1962. At its founding, Immaculate’s goal was to cultivate moral character traits, a trained mind, a disciplined will and a strong body – and that tradition continues today. Niche rankings have named Immaculate the #1 Catholic Co-Ed Day School in Connecticut for the second year.

“Our commitment to our mission is most evident in our progressive programs where students are becoming certified in nursing, graphic arts and computer science, to name a few and this prepares them for college and beyond,” said Immaculate President Mary Maloney. “Our graduating classes have averaged $30M in college scholarships for the past three years. In the Class of 2022, its 117 students received on average nearly $60,000 each from the colleges and universities they chose to attend. All of our Diamond Gala proceeds benefit our ability to continue providing an exemplary education for our students.”

Immaculate’s Diamond Gala dinner dance will be held at the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury on March 25 from 6-11pm. The event will feature dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions, as well as a $10,000 cash raffle drawing. Tickets are $175 per person or $350 per couple. The school is proud to honor alumni David Cappiello ‘86 of Newtown, CT and Jo-Anne Price ‘66 of Ridgefield, CT at the gala for their contributions to Immaculate High School, Catholic education and their communities. Cappiello will receive the Nancy K. Dolan Leadership Award and Price will be awarded the Immaculate High School 2023 Distinguished Service Award.

Only 350 tickets will be sold for the $10,000 cash raffle. Although the drawing will be held at the gala, the winner need not be present to win. You may purchase tickets here:
