Immaculate Grabs Second Spot In Final Field Hockey Poll

DANBURY, CT — A dominating performance in the Class S championship game made Immaculate High School the number two choice among voters in the final field hockey coaches poll for 2018.

The Mustangs totally outplayed top-seeded Granby during a 3-0 title victory Sunday at Wethersfield High School, the first field hockey state title in Immaculate history.

Class L champion Staples was first in the balloting, while L runner-up Cheshire wound up third.

Here are the top 10, plus all other teams receiving votes.
