Interim Principal Named For Westside Middle School Academy In Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Danbury Public Schools has named Jennifer Blue as interim principal at Westside Middle School Academy, following the resignation of Frank Labanca.

Blue recently served as assistant principal at Westside Middle School Academy for three years.

During that time, "Mrs. Blue has proven her ability to lead," Superintendent Kevin Walston said. "The transition to Interim Principal will ensure a smooth start to the school year as Mrs. Blue already has established strong relationships with students, staff, and families at Westside Middle School Academy."

Blue will begin her new role effective immediately.
