Update: Men Allegedly Drinking Since Sunday Charged in Danbury Knife Fight
Two men were taken to the emergency room.
Two men were transported to Danbury Hospital following a knife fight in Danbury.
According to police, Adan Morales, 31, of Danbury walked into the Danbury Police Department around 9 a.m. on Monday. Morales was bleeding from the face and holding a broken knife, police said.
Morales reportedly told police that he and Marcos Kalle, 26, of Danbury were at a residence on Patch Street, where they had been drinking since 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Morales further said he got into a fight with Kalle and he pulled a knife out and stabbed Morales in the neck, police said. Morales then said that he cut Marcos with the knife while defending himself.
Officers went to the residence at 7 Patch Street where they found blood leading up to the rear apartment, police said. After officers were unable to get a response at the door, they forced their way in.

Officers located Kalle bleeding from a hand injury and hiding in a closet.
Kalle reportedly told officers that he and Morales had been drinking and the two got into a fight, police said. Kalle then said Morales grabbed a knife and tried to attack him. Kalle said he tried to defend himself and stabbed Morales in the process, police said.
Both Morales and Kalle were transported to Danbury Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
They were both charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct and held on a $100,000 bond each.
