Man Shot, 70-Year-Old Woman Assaulted in Danbury Home Invasion
Two men busted through the front door, assaulted the victims and made off with cash.

A 70-year-old woman was among the victims of a home invasion over the weekend in Danbury.
A 70-year-old woman and 25-year-old man were home on Irving Place around 9:45 p.m. when two males wearing ski masks kicked-in the front door and shot the male victim, according to WTNH. They then tied up the woman and physically assaulted her.
The home invaders left the house with an undetermined amount of cash. The victims were taken to the hospital and the man was admitted for his gunshot wound.
