Manager at Danbury Pet Shop Also Facing Animal Cruelty Charges

An investigation by the Department of Agriculture led to the charges.

A second arrest has been made in an animal cruelty case that alleges the owner of a Danbury pet store failed to care for sick animals.

According to the News Times, Kathy Seton, 29, of Cold Spring, N.Y. was charged on Wednesday with animal cruelty. Seton is a manager at the Federal Road store.

Danbury Pet Shop Owner Accused of Failing to Care for Sick Animals

Richard F. Doyle, 55, of Mahopac, N.Y. was charged with three counts of animal cruelty after an investigation conducted by the Department of Agriculture that began in March.

Doyle is accused of failing to care for sick animals. According to authorities, two animals had to be euthanized for the lack of care.
