Memorial Planned For 25-Year-Old Danbury Woman Killed In Crash
Danielle Dempsey was "a vibrant and beautiful person with a huge heart and infectious smile," according to those who knew her best.

DANBURY, CT — Memorial services have been planned for the 25-year-old woman who was killed by a wrong-way driver early Sunday morning.
Danielle Rachel Dempsey was a talented artist and aspiring chef, according to her obituary, "a vibrant and beautiful person with a huge heart and infectious smile."
Dempsey, of Alan Road, was traveling on Route 7 southbound, north of the Exit 7 entrance ramp in Danbury shortly before 2 a.m. when her Honda Accord was struck head-on by a Dodge Challenger GT, according to state police.

She is survived by her parents, Jodi and Bill Dempsey, her brother Joshua Dempsey and his fiancé Lauren Bonham, brother Noah Dempsey and his girlfriend Kendall Krafick, brother Aaron Dempsey and his girlfriend Kiarra Hamed, and her grandparents, Harriet and Herb Krate.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. in the United Jewish Center, 141 Deer Hill Avenue, Danbury, with Cantor Lilah Sugarman, officiating.

Interment will follow in the United Jewish Center Cemetery, 124 Gray’s Bridge Rd., Brookfield.
The Period of Mourning will be observed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herb Krate, 4 Alan Road, Lake Waubeeka, Danbury, on Wednesday following the Interment, Thursday from 11 a.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
