'The Mistletoes Take a Holiday' to The Palace Danbury

The new family musical that pays homage to the great holiday shows of yesteryear. Shows run Friday, December 16 through Sunday, December 18.

From The Palace Danbury: Musicals at Richter returns to The Palace Danbury with The Mistletoes Take a Holiday, a new family musical that pays homage to the great holiday shows of yesteryear.

Set on Christmas Eve in 1965, The Mistletoes, America's favorite singing sisters, have just wrapped up their Christmas tour and are heading home for the holidays. A winter storm strands them in Danbury, a charming town north of New York City (and just below freezing).

The group seeks shelter at The Palace Theatre where a sold out audience is waiting to be entertained. However, the evening's headliner is stuck in the snow and can't make it to the Palace. In the true spirit of Christmas, The Mistletoes step in to save the day and perform their holiday show. And to the audience's delight, they're joined on stage by caroling youngsters.
