'Like Mother, Like Daughters,' Says This Danbury Man: PHOTO

DANBURY, CT --- Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 this weekend, we asked Patch readers across Connecticut to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

In Danbury, Zach Kinsman was so struck by the lasting resemblance among two generations of his wife's family that he shared with us a photo from his wedding.

From left to right in the picture above are Zach's mother-in-law, Amy Vassak; his wife Catharine Vassak-Kinsman , and Amanda Vassak, his sister-in-law. The photo was taken on Zach's and Catharine's wedding day, February 13, 2016 at Northeast Baptist Church in Danbury.

"Catharine is the love of my life," Zach told the Patch, "and we have been happily married for over two years now. Time spent with her family is always something we cherish."
