Mother Who Kidnapped Children Captured In Danbury: PD
She had threatened to harm herself and her children, police said.

DANBURY, CT — State Police arrested a Rochester, N.Y. woman who took her children in custodial interference and threatened to harm them and herself, according to police.
Police were on the lookout for a Chevrolet Trailblazer Feb. 13 that was wanted from the city of Pittsfield, Mass., police said. They were told that Shareen Tanna had her three children in the vehicle and possibly two other occupants.
She was believed to be traveling to Rochester, N.Y. via I-84.

The vehicle was located at a gas station on Newtown Road in Danbury. Tanna was detained and taken into custody on an extraditable warrant for kidnapping a minor by a relative. All five children that were with Tanna were uninjured.
Tanna was held on a $100,000 bond.
