Motorcyclist Killed In Newtown Crash Was Danbury High Senior: GoFundMe
An 18-year-old victim is being remembered by family as a kind and selfless teen ahead of graduation.
DANBURY, CT — The motorcyclist killed in a crash involving a box truck in Newtown earlier this week has been identified as an 18-year-old Danbury High School senior, according to an online fundraiser created by his family.
Christopher Alexander Guallpa-Lema died in the April 27 crash, which occurred on Route 34, police said.
The teen was a senior at Danbury High School and had been planning to graduate and attend college later this year, according to the GoFundMe fundraiser.

Family members described him as kind, selfless and someone who brought joy to those around him.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, riding his motorcycle, working on cars and playing soccer, according to the fundraiser.

The campaign was created to help cover funeral and memorial expenses following what family members described as a sudden and devastating loss.
Police have not released additional details about the crash.
