Nearest Spirit Halloween Is Now Open For Danbury-Area Shoppers

DANBURY, CT — Spooky season is arriving early in Danbury, with Spirit Halloween returning to the city for the 2026 season.

Spirit Halloween is located in the former Five Below space at 15 Backus Ave., Suite 9, according to the retailer's store listing. The seasonal store sells Halloween costumes for adults and children, accessories, decorations, animatronics and other Halloween merchandise.

The Danbury store is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays; and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays.

The Danbury location also serves as a nearby Spirit Halloween option for shoppers in surrounding communities including Bethel, Brookfield, Newtown, Redding and Ridgefield.

Spirit Halloween operates seasonal pop-up stores across the country, frequently moving into temporarily vacant retail spaces ahead of Halloween. The company says its seasonal stores are generally open from late August through early November.

This year's merchandise includes costumes inspired by movies, television, video games and pop culture, along with classic Halloween staples such as witches, ghosts, skeletons and vampires.
