New Coffee Shop Opens In Danbury

Barrister's Coffee House has opened in downtown Danbury.

DANBURY, CT — Barrister's Coffee House has opened in downtown Danbury at 1 West St.

Owner Tracy Hoekenga and husband Craig noted the location when they heard that the Norwalk Valley Community College was moving nearby, according to the News-Times.

The coffee comes from Baronet Coffee Inc. in Windsor and many baked goods come from a Bethel bakery.

The shop is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the owners hope to open it on Saturdays as well.
