New Date Announced for Candlewood Lake Fireworks

The Danbury Volunteer Fire Department has rescheduled the fireworks display on Candlewood Lake.

According to the Candlewood Lake Authority Facebook page, the fireworks will be held on Aug. 22. The rain date for the event Aug. 23.

“Thank you to the Danbury Volunteer Fire Department for working hard to get us our third chance at enjoying a great night on Candlewood Lake,” the Candlewood Lake Authority wrote on Facebook. ”Let’s all get together August 22nd to wish America a belated Happy Birthday!”
