New Leads Emerge In Unsolved 2012 Danbury Homicide: Report

Police say advances in DNA testing have led to new investigative leads in the killing of a Danbury man more than a decade ago.

DANBURY, CT — New investigative leads have emerged in the unsolved 2012 killing of a Danbury man, according to a report.

Mario Imbesi, 43, was found dead inside his apartment on Farview Avenue in March 2012, and his death was ruled a homicide. More than a decade later, police say advances in DNA testing and renewed investigative efforts have led to new potential suspects, the The News-Times reported.

Authorities said the case remains active, and investigators believe there may still be individuals with information that could help move it forward. No arrests have been made.
