Obituary: David S. Radachowsky, of Danbury

DANBURY, CT — David S. Radachowsky, 65, of Danbury, died peacefully on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at St. John Paul II Center for Health Care in Danbury after a long illness.

David was born in Danbury, June 8, 1953, a son of John Radachowsky Jr.of Danbury and the late Elizabeth "Betty" (Dargo) Radachowsky. After he attended local schools, he worked in maintenance and carpentry.

David's passions were shown through the love of music and nature. David's musical ability was displayed through the guitar, piano, harmonica, and saxophone while writing his own music. He also loved hiking and was an extraordinary gardener. His favorite indoor activities included cribbage and billiards.

Mostly, David's true love was being a proud father and love for his son Zachary.

In addition to his father, David is survived by his former wife, Bonnie Donfrancesco; a son, Zachary (Kristy) Radachowsky and siblings; John E. Radachowsky (Terrie), Richard (Ruth), Bruce and Janina Radachowsky; twelve nieces and nephews; fifteen great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends will be received in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 -11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Interment in St. Peter Cemetery will take place on May 22, 2019 at a time to be announced.
