Obituary: Judith Ann Gaboardi, Of Bethel

Judy had a great passion for sports. She loved watching professional golf, football and baseball.

BETHEL, CT — Judith Ann Gaboardi passed away peacefully on June 4, 2020 at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT. Judith was born on April 13, 1941 in Danbury to the late Shirley (Palmer) and Albert Bucko.

Judy was a long-time resident of Bethel, where she was married to her husband Michael A. Gaboardi, Sr. and spent many wonderful years raising her family. Judy was an avid puzzler and would complete the crossword puzzles in the newspaper daily. Judy also had a great passion for sports. She loved watching professional golf, football and baseball. Her favorite teams were the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.

Judy is survived by her son Christopher and his wife Heidi Gaboardi, as well as, her sister Janice Gartland, her brother James Bucko and his wife Helen, her son-in-law Joseph Miller, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Michael A. Gaboardi, Sr., as well as, her daughters, Jennifer Gaboardi Miller and Gwen Gaboardi, and her sons, Jeffrey Gaboardi and Michael A. Gaboardi, Jr. and his wife Eleanor.
