He is survived by his siblings, Mark Ragette, Elaine Breitling, Neil Ragette, and Ralph R. Ragette.
On July 19, 1986, Paul married the love of his life, Rosemarie (Moreau) Ragette. This coming month would have marked their 37th wedding anniversary, a testament to the enduring love they shared.

Paul will be missed dearly by his three daughters, Nicole Brotman (spouse David Brotman), Jennifer Brual (spouse Anthony Brual), and Kelly Ragette (fiancé Adam Gerber). Paul, better known as “Pop Pop” by his granddaughters, held a special place in the hearts of his grandchildren. Emma, Cadence, and Emelia were his pride and joy and the light of his life. In just a few short days, Paul would have welcomed his newest granddaughters, twin girls Tristyn and Harley, into the world, adding more love and happiness to his growing family.

In his youth, Paul enjoyed spending his days practicing dark room photography, barefoot waterskiing, boating, sailing, scuba diving, and fishing at his childhood home on Candlewood Lake in Brookfield. Paul possessed an exceptional talent for woodworking and building. From decorative lamps handcrafted for his girls' nursery to school science projects with his daughters, his craftsmanship was a reflection of his meticulous nature and his drive for perfection.

Paul had a soft spot for animals, and he especially loved dogs. In his passing, Paul will reunite with all of his dear pets who passed before him, including his beloved childhood dog, Denny.

Beyond his talents and passions, what truly defined Paul was that, despite the adversity he encountered throughout his lifetime, his capacity to love was so great. He unapologetically embraced his emotions, sometimes to a fault, and those who truly knew him know that he had a genuine, loving heart.

Additionally, Paul’s ability to crack a joke in just about any situation was truly impressive, and we will miss the laughter he brought to us.

As we bid farewell to Paul Fletcher Ragette, we celebrate his life and the positive impact he had on his loved ones. We remember the immense love he shared, the countless lives he touched, and the legacy he leaves behind. May his spirit rest in peace, free from pain, and forever watching over his beloved family as they find solace in the precious memories they shared together.

There will be no calling hours.

The family will host a celebration of Paul's life at a later date.
