Obituary: Sumathy Mohanraj, 78, of Danbury

DANBURY, CT — Sumathy Mohanraj, 78 years old, passed away very peacefully in her sleep on April 20, 2019 at 7:45 a.m. She is survived by her only son Santhosh Mohanraj, daughter-in-law Mini Santosh, and grandchildren Bharath Santosh and Sairus Santosh.

Sumathy retired from Agricultural college in India in 1995 and joined her son in US in 2009.

Sumathy lived a full and celebrated life and was always known for her kindness and humor.

While she was still holding her calm in so much pain as her journey was coming to an end, she always enjoyed the journey and spread so much happiness in every life that she touched.

A Visitation will be held on Monday April 22, 2019 at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St, Danbury CT 06810) from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Cremation will follow at Stone Family Crematory (125 Bullet Hill Rd N., Southbury CT 06488) for 12:30 p.m.
