Owner of The Matrix Corporate Center Died in a Car Crash

Glen Nelson, 48, was the owner of The Matrix Corporate Center in Danbury. He died just two days before his 49th birthday.

The owner of The Matrix Corporate Center in Danbury died in a car accident on Long Island, according to the News Times.

Glen Nelson, 48, died Sunday afternoon after crashing his Lamborghini into a utility pole in Port Jefferson. According to police, Nelson was driving a 2008 Lamborghini Murciélago when the car left the roadway and struck a pole at about 3:40 p.m.

Nelson was transported to St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Nelson was the founder and CEO of The Matrix Group, a real estate investment and management company based in Port Jefferson.

The Lamborghini was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call 631-854-8652.

Nelson is survived by four children, his fiance and her son and his former wife. Funeral plans are incomplete at this time.
