Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?

No

Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

To help Danbury citizens with concerns about safety, road conditions and general city issues

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Traffic, road conditions and speed in and around our city. I intend to work with the City Council to find solutions to ease up traffic bottlenecks. As a city employee I know we are paving roads each year as much as our budget allows.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I’ve never been in politics before, as an average working citizen I feel I can be a fresh different voice to help make a difference for this great city.

If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?

My challenger is not an incumbent but this ward has been electing the opposite party for many years. It’s time for a fresh voice. As a city employee I intend to work hard in helping our neighborhoods with their concerns.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Safety is a big issue for me and my plan would be to meet all the law enforcement officers and work with the police chief to voice the concerns of our citizens.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

As a past chief of a volunteer fire department for 8 years, I spent many hours working hard for others and always keeping people's safety a priority.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Hard work pays off!

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I will work hard for the citizens of Danbury.
