DANBURY, CT — The 2023 municipal election is heating up in Danbury and there are plenty of races with candidates eager to serve in elected office.

Michael J. Flanagan, 71, is running for Danbury treasurer as a Democrat. He is a graduate of Danbury High School and St. Peter School in Danbury.

During my working years I managed municipal departments including their budgets.
