Patch Candidate Profile: Michael Safranek, Danbury Constable

DANBURY, CT — The 2023 municipal election is heating up in Danbury and there are plenty of races with candidates eager to serve in elected office.

Danbury Patch asked candidates to answer questions about their campaigns and will be publishing candidate profiles as Election Day draws near.

Republican Michael Safranek is running for re-election as constable in Danbury, a position he has held for the last 20 years. He attended Hofstra University and received a BS in Justice and Law from WCSU. He is currently airport administrator at Danbury Municipal Airport.

I have 20 years experience.

I have been elected and served the Danbury community for 20 years.
