Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?
Elected Zoning Commission alternate
Why are you seeking this office?
I believe that small business needs a voice.
Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is __, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Affordable housing. I will do all I can so Danbury can have affordable housing
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I’m very involved with the people in my community
If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?
Racism
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
So many. But as now I want Danbury to preserve the historical buildings
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As now I hold the title of Zoning commissioner Alternate. I took all the courses the commission requested. And I was able to vote many times on petitions due to the lack of full seats on the meetings. As an Alternate I was there 96% of the meetings something that no other Alternate has done before and also 96% of the time more than Full Seats. I actually care for Danbury and that’s why I’m running for a full seat this time on the Zoning Commission.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Farley Santos told me once on the opening of the Dominican Softball game “Great to see you here Olga” “Keep doing what you doing this is how I started”
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I want the voter’s to know that I’m not running for fame, I’m not running for money, I’m running because I care, I’m running because small business needs a voice, I'm running because Danbury needs a real change.
