Why are you seeking this office?

To continue working on constituents' issues, neighborhood improvements, revenue and tax policies

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is _-_, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Generally taxes and finances. I continue to increase revenue from non-residential sources so that families in Danbury and the 6th ward (homeowners and renters) pay less for and get more in services.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I grew up in the sixth ward and went to schools here. I work here. I manage housing here. Nobody knows the ward and the issues better.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Reapportionment, Charter Revision, Lee Farm, Richter Park, Responsible development, Downtown development, Traffic, Keeping crime down and employment up. Increasing state and federal grants and funding.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Approved the noteworthy Reserve Planned Neighborhood Development (PND) on the west side where thousands of people are now enjoying life. Kept unemployment and crime low. Fought successfully against ill advised development schemes. Worked effectively with leaders from all parties in Danbury and at the state and federal level. I've been responsive to constituents, standing up for them, responding quickly and getting problems solved.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Treat people the way you'd like to be treated.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I strive to make Danbury better every day.
