People’s United Community Foundation Gives Grant to Habitat

Grant To Support Habitat Affordable Housing Mission

Danbury, CT - 05/6/19: People’s United Community Foundation’s grant to Housatonic Habitat for Humanity supports its affordable housing for workforce families. “We are grateful for the support we receive from People’s United,” said Fran Normann, Executive Director of Housatonic Habitat. “‘Every grant we receive helps us make a difference in our local community.”

Housatonic Habitat for Humanity is both a builder and a bank, building affordable homes for working families who might not qualify for a traditional mortgage. In addition, Housatonic Habitat provides home repairs for homeowners who are aging in place.
