Police: 2-year-old Left in Car Alone, Danbury Mother Charged
The woman told police she had only left her alone for 10 minutes.

A Danbury woman, who left her 2-year-old daughter alone in the car while she shopped, was arrested Monday.
Two witnesses spotted the child crying in the car in the parking lot of the Newtown Road Walmart, said the Danbury News-Times.
Police were called, but before they arrived Heidi Uvina-Desanchez, 32, of Coal Pit Hill Road, took the child out of the car and took her into the store with her.

The woman was found inside Walmart, where she allegedly said she had only left her daughter alone for about 10 minutes, the News-Times reported.
Uvina-Desanchez was charged with leaving a child under 12 unsupervised and was released to appear in court Dec. 16.
