Police Arrest Danbury Man on Drug Charges Near Wilton School
Police stopped the car because it had only one headlight working.

DANBURY, CT — Police arrested a Danbury man on drug charges near Wilton High School early Thursday morning.
Wilton police stopped a 2007 Honda Accord at 5:40 a.m. on March 28 at the intersection of Danbury Road and Catalpa Road for missing a headlight, and then saw that car's registration was expired and a tightly-rolled dollar bill was in plain sight.
The driver, Jonathan Matos, 31, of Bullet Hill Road in Danbury, told the officers that he used the rolled up dollar bill to ingest cocaine, according to the police report.

Police searched the vehicle and discovered a total of 0.339 ounces of suspected cocaine.
Matos was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics with intent to sell less than 1,500 feet of a prohibited area, possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and improper number of headlights. He was issued a $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court Norwalk Superior Court the next day.
