Police Find 6,500 Fentanyl Packets In Danbury Man's Apartment
The Danbury Police Department began its investigation after receiving multiple complaints the man was selling drugs throughout the city.

DANBURY, CT — Police charged a city man with multiple drug charges Wednesday, following an investigation prompted by multiple complaints he was selling drugs throughout the city.
Danbury Police Department surveillance observed Ive "Quick" James, 31, leaving his Ives Street apartment building around 2:50 p.m. Wednesday. Police apprehended him in a nearby store without incident, according to Detective Lt. Mark Williams.
Investigators then searched James' apartment, where they found more than 6,500 packets of fentanyl, approximately 1 ounce of crack, and several thousand dollars, Williams said.

James was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $200,000.
