Police Seek Public's Help to Catch a Purse Snatcher
The crime involved an elderly female victim.
DANBURY, CT — The police are looking for the public's help to catch a purse snatcher.
The Danbury Police Department Detective Bureau is investigating a purse snatching that involved an elderly female victim. This robbery occurred on Monday, Oct. 22, at around 7:00 p.m. on Center Street, near St. Peter’s Church. Video surveillance shows that the suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and light colored shoes. The video also shows that there were several people in the area around the time of this robbery.
Police have not released any footage of the suspect.
