Praxair in Danbury Awarded for Diversity, Gender Equality

The recognition comes from Bloomberg and Forbes

DANBURY, CT — Local industrial gas manufacturer Praxair has been named to Bloomberg's 2019 Gender-Equality Index (GEI) and Forbes’ America’s Best Employers for Diversity 2019 list.

This is the second consecutive year Praxair has been included on the Bloomberg GEI, which distinguishes companies committed to transparency in gender reporting and advancing women’s equality.

Additionally, Forbes recognized Praxair as one of America’s Best Employers for Diversity. The list of 500 employers was based on an independent survey in which employees were asked to evaluate their own employers and others in the industry surrounding the topics of age, gender equality, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQ+ and general diversity. Other factors for consideration included diversity among top executive and board positions.
