DANBURY, CT — Emergency personnel responded to a report of an "unknown powder" on Tuesday morning, the News-Times has reported.
A vendor at 5 Sugar Hollow Road called police after finding six envelopes containing an unknown powder. Police and fire crews arrived at The Shops at Marcus Dairy shopping center around 11:40 a.m., but tagged the incident as a "police matter" less than five minutes later. The police hazmat truck arrived at 11:43 a.m., and the incident was officially closed by 12:05 p.m.
