Reward Offered in Danbury Hit-and-Run

A New Milford man was struck by a car in September near the campus of Western Connecticut State University.

The driver who struck a Western Connecticut State University college student Sept. 30 in Danbury is still be sought by the police and there is now a reward.

The New Milford man, age 23, had minor head injuries, but was left with a “severely mangled” hand, according to the Danbury News Times who said the information came from his mother, Vivian Percoco.

The victim’s family is now offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.

Percoco told the News Times that her son has had to have two surgeries and continuous physical therapy.
