Road Closures, Debris Reported Across Danbury After Storm
Several roads are shut down while others remain hazardous following heavy rain and strong winds, officials said.
DANBURY, CT — Multiple roads are closed across Danbury Tuesday morning as crews continue clearing debris following a powerful storm that brought heavy rain and strong winds overnight.
Long Ridge Road, Chambers Road, Osborne Street and Marianna Farm Drive are closed, according to officials.
Nabby Road and Bear Mountain Road remain open, but debris has been reported on both roadways and drivers are urged to use caution.

The storm caused scattered damage across the region, including downed trees and power lines. Fewer than 100 customers without power in Danbury as crews work with Eversource to assess outages.
Officials are reminding residents to stay away from downed wires and treat all wires as if they are live.
