Santa Rampage Bike Ride Rolls Through Danbury Dec. 5

The Santa Rampage bicycle ride is a fun 12-mile ride from Danbury to Bethel to celebrate the season. Santa attire is optional.

The Santa Rampage is a short bicycle ride in which dozens of holiday revelers dress up in full Santa suits and ride from Danbury to Bethel spreading holiday cheer. Participants are not required to dress up.

Cyclists will meet at Germantown Plaza, 30 Germantown Rd., Danbury at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5.

Organizer Dave Fine of Danbury said, “The ride will be an easy, slow pace, 12 miles or so through Danbury and Bethel. There will be a couple of stops along the way. Riders are encouraged to decorate their bikes and/or wear festive clothing. This is a fun ride to encourage cycling and to celebrate the coming of winter and the festive season.”
