Saturday Street Fest in Danbury to Snarl Traffic: Police
Heavier than normal foot and motor traffic is expected during the Danbury Street Festival on Saturday
DANBURY, CT — Police are advising that heavier than usual Saturday traffic can be expected on Saturday when the annual Danbury Street Festival takes over downtown.
Main Street will be closed between White Street and Liberty/West Street from 9 a.m to 6 p.m.
"We are expecting increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic in and around this area so please be alert and drive safely," the police tweeted out.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, CityCenterDanbury’s StreetFestival is themed this year as "A Celebration of Arts & Innovation," and will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Street. Art, music, games, food and beverages will be mixed in with displays of new technology and live performances. The festival offers free admission, rain or shine.
