Save the Date for the Annual Santa Rampage,Set to Roll Through Danbury!
Save the date for the "Santa Rampage," a bicycle ride from Danbury to Bethel in which cyclists in full Santa attire bring holiday cheer.

Save the Date! This year’s Santa Rampage will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 11 a.m.
The Santa Rampage is a short bicycle ride in which dozens of holiday revelers dress up in full Santa suits and ride from Danbury to Bethel spreading holiday cheer.
The 10-15 mile ride starts near downtown Danbury, rolls through downtown Bethel and then goes back again to Danbury. Cyclists can expect a few stops along the way for conversation and refreshments.
Organizer Dave Fine of Danbury said, “It’s a great way to promote bicycling and have fun! There is no need for costumes but it makes the ride more fun if you are dressed for the holiday season in a full Santa suit and hat, or as an elf, reindeer, dreidel, latke, or your favorite seasonal costume. A decorated bike is cool too.”
Last year, Fine said, the kids were waving at the Santas and the drivers were cheering the group on as they made their way through town.
Patch will post more details when the starting location is announced. For more information email Dave Fine at: dave@finetastic.com.
